Introducing (drum roll) Miss Quinn Penelope Andersen

After 39 weeks which may I add seemed to fly by (apart from the last 2 weeks of constant peeing and back ache) Little 6llb Quinn arrived via the clever hand of Dr Weirkmeister and crew.... fairly calm surroundings apart from myself....have to be honest and say I was a little nervous, probably due to the fact that I knew what to expect and the thought of being sliced whilst awake never really appealed to me, however we managed and the end result was worth any pushing prodding etc..... Soooooo without further adieu ....MISS QUINN....Oh have to add these shots were a little rushed due to the fact that she decided to poop all over the lovely white blanket...well done her!!!

The hats were supplied by a brilliant knitter with some gorgeous stuff (I shall be investing more)

A sneak peek

Yesterday I had a super fun session with Stacey and Mike (aka Johnny) Really cool couple with their first child on the way, I am lucky enough to have not only snapped them pregnant but also will also get a chance when their bundle of joy arrives in 4 weeks time!!!

Thanks to both of them for making it fun!!

I think I'm pretty lucky... a sneak peek.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of watching two lovely people say 'I do' in front of all their family and friends.  It rained literally cats and dogs the whole day and not once did I hear either of them complain, moan or worry.   The bride, Miss S, was gorgeous and her dress was probably the most amazing piece of fabric I have ever seen, she was truly stunning.

Thank you to both of them for making it such a wonderful experience and letting Rachael and I be part of their day.  This is a couple who are truly in love and it showed.  Good luck for the future!!!

A moment I love

I don't have to beg too hard to get a couple of my fav models to pose for me!!!  I have a wedding to shoot tomorrow and was trying some different angles (as you do) and due to the fact that these are my special people I had to add it to the BLOG!!!  I now just need to train AVA to stay still so I can get the 3 of them in the same frame!!!

Day 4 out of Mummy's tum

This beautiful little man was a DREAM to snap....now granted my newborn photography experience is slightly limited so having a little teeny tiny sleepy boy was perfect.... it helps when his mummy is so wonderful!!!  I have been super lucky with these gorgeous models and it helps that I am as clucky as a mother hen!

Lucky ME

A wee while back I had two of the most amazing photographers come visit and spend time in sunny NZ!!!  Being fully pregnant and having bad news that week my head was not so on the game, however I did learn a huge amount and am ever so grateful to the beautiful Leah www.leahprofancik.com and Ainslie www.wildspiritphotography.com.au for taking the time to sneak over and share their knowledge!!!   I have finally started editing some of the shots and had to plonk this one in.... The wonderful Amanda and her little gem LUCY were such troopers and Lucy performed perfectly and slept through some of the craziest gusts of wind.

To all our dear wonderful models who helped out that week, yes you shall see you photos soon, thank you for you patience!!!

The most beautiful mum

Well where do I start with this amazing, beautiful person!!!  Holly belle was so gracious and let me take a few snaps of her ever expanding belly.  She was gorgeous, and willing to let me try all sorts of different poses.  Where would I be without her!!!   I had to fill her up with some well deserved sushi so her little bump would poke out for me!!  Can not wait until she's a little bigger to get some more of her little peanut!!

Big love to you Hols, and thank you for being you xxxx

Just one week old!!

Today I had the pleasure of meeting little Olivia, who is all but 1 week old!!  She was the cutest little button and the perfect angel (when we got her to sleep) Thanks to her Mum and Dad who were very patient and kind enough to let me take the photos.  I may go back next week for some different poses!!!!
