Its great when you have the cutest little people to snap and today did not disappoint.... These two amazing little girls and their gorgeous Mum were a dream to meet. They braved the windy cold (sposed to be summer) weather, purple lips and all, and gave me nothing but grins (with the help of M and his friend M's....thats M&M's) These two just happen to be little Harlem's (see below post) cousins....see cuteness runs in the family!!!
Well it would have been more but I have been a little busy on the home front and haven't had a lot of time to process the cutest little man. Baby Harlem came into this world weighing a healthy 9 pound plus, bless his mothers heart. I was lucky enough to capture little Harlem when he was just a teeny bump in him Mum' tummy. He wasn't a fan of sleeping this day however he has the most dreamy eyes (look out ladies) so a pleasure to snap whilst awake.
So only one shot today but I promise a few more will be added over the next few days!!!
Well whats with this weather????? Sposed to be the peak of summer and its been nothing but blahhhh rain and a whole heap of cold wind...the kind that chills and feels like winter. I do enjoy the change in weather, that feeling you get when the leaves start to fall and the fire goes on, but hey, NOW???? Not looking forward to dark mornings and ice on the windscreen....am I jumping the gun, Jeeeze its still February . Now the sun did shine today so took advantage of the small window I had and quickly snapped Ella... the yellow daisy's signal to Tonni that the lawn mower needs to be dusted off and some grooming is in order!!! A great deal of my AWAKE time is spent with my darling girls.... I would never change that!! I cherish every moment I can. From time to time Life can get a little crazy and Mummy gets a little grumpy, but I still would never change a thing.....except when its 5am and my darling middle princess,... (That would be AVA),gently taps me on my sleep deprived shoulder and whispers......"you be the prince and I'm cinderella" YUP thats what my life entails..... Heck I don't mind being the prince, playing the game....but does it HAVE TO BE PLAYED AT 5AM?????????????? I gently whispered, "Its still night time darling, you need to sleep" followed by "OH ok" not even 30 seconds later "mummy.... you be the prince I'm cinderella" Oh these are the moments we wish to forget at the time, however hold on until they are 21 and a speech can be written about it. Well Ava I do hope you find your prince one day!!

Thats my brain I am talking too. Mothers really are the backbone of society... How do we do it, sleepless nights, pee on the floor (that was Tonni not the kids...teheee teehhhee) kissing snotty faces, vomit, POO, a whole tube of benifit foundation all over my white bed sheets, and still having to sustain a smile whilst doing it all. I think everyone should call their mothers or a mother if you don't want to call your own, and thank them for all they did when we were small!!! It is a thankless (is that even a word) job however I wouldn't change a thing....except the part about the foundation!!!!
I have a love hate relationship with this photo a day thing.....I will write more tomorrow....right now its midnight and I need to SLEEEEEEEEP. Anyway my sweet darlings again. Ava seems to be the star of this week...next week it will be ELLA xxxxx
Post tonight....dreary day and feeling a little flabergasted (thats a great word if only I could spell it) I adore my girls and luuurveee spending time with them....but the skin on my feet are in desperate need of creams and polish.....my belly is rotund and my boobs are not mine...They're Quinn's as they should be....however i need some time...be it only ten minutes. Tonni announced this morning....and I quote "I'm trying to think of a way to take you to Fiji" my reply "hey just the fact that you mentioned me and Fiji in one sentence gets me through the day!!!!" I won a cover of a book aptly named LOVE and needed a profile picture.....I'm not so good in front of the camera....so needed to pull all of my Top Model TV time (many an hour) experience and "make it work"....or is that project runway???

Only a wonderful, gracious true friend would let you practice on them!!!! I think I love the possibility of taking pictures of expecting mums and then their new bundles of joy. Nothing can compare to watching someone with their newborn and the love that they have for these innocent creatures ( I write this as Quinn my newborn is SCREAMING.....) Anyhow I have the most amazing beautiful friend who features at the start of this blog. Her and her wonderful husband are expecting their first child in three weeks, however my prediction says they will pop on Sunday (I've got 5 bucks on it) soooooo being as lucky as I am she has allowed me to snap a couple of her and her belly, affectionately known as peanut.....by the way I didn't leave Quinn crying I'm now doing the one fingered type with her in my arms....I'm a sucker for screaming babies!!
One quick shot....there were a thousand and one toys scattered around the room and sponge bob blaring in the background...you know how some nice photographers do the pull back shot so you can see their set up....Well my pull back would horrify you it was like a pack of baby rhinos had stampeded through my lounge mmmmm maybe they did????
I fell off the wagon yesterday and didn't post a picture......ahhhhhhhrrhhggggg plus I ate a good amount of chocolate....double ahhhhhhhgggggg now I don't have time to post much as my darling husband is giving me the look!!!!! a couple of my little angel AVA
