Let me hear you say 'yeah yeah'

She begins the conversation with "I know who you are I read your blog".  I smile, "cool" I say, "I love that there is someone out there who reads my nonsense, my rambles"  We politely move on to another topic.  My mind wonders back to the keypad, and I wonder? ... who does read my blog?   I have my regular commenters... you all know who you are... well I guess everyone knows who you are cause you can read it at the bottom of each post.  But I still wonder.  Its really quite funny, I write my jibberish at my makeshift desk in my makeshift office slash playroom, and I have to admit, I'm curious (actually I'm nosey but curious sounds better)?????  Who reads my blog.... so the challenge is on... I want to know, so I'm putting a block of very classy chocolate on the line.  Yes sir ree you comment on this post and I will send one lucky blog reader a block of chocolate, Whitikars white chocolate with macadamia, heaven in a foil packet to be exact.  Comments are at the bottom of the photos for this post, click on it and away you go.   All 3 of you need to start typing!!!!  Winner will be announced in the next post!!! Outside my square

So sometimes I need to challenge myself and find a spot inside myself that screams different.  This shot is my inner voice yelling at me to go ahead and try.  Wether that voice is right or wrong is beyond me as I have stared at it far too long.... My feelings are neutral, but hey why not shove it up for the masses and let everyone else decide. Hopefully someone out there will find it interesting.... someone???????

Red wine + infomercials = disaster

Lordy, I am so behind.  My head is spinning with a million bits and pieces to tie together.  Deciding that a glass of red will help me focus....NUP.... I sit here listening to Billie Joel wailing about some uptown girl, isn't that sad, however its really quite amazing how good it sounds when glass number 2 is guzzled.  To all my beautiful lovely clients... I really do love you all and I promise that my world is going to slow down and yes I shall be more attentive to processing your photos, (as I write I am now distracted by the infomercial on Proactiv.... whats the number again)  Anyway Pink has now hit my airways, so I need to go to bed. Time stand still

I look at her and and realize she's growing.... a heck of a lot quicker than I want.  I need to stop and smell the roses, cause I know they smell good.  So much to do so little time.  Everyone should stop and hug their loved ones, wether it be little or big because tonight there is a family who don't have their little girl to hold tight, to kiss goodnight, to say I love you.  Sleep well little Aisling, god bless your precious soul.

Sheep

Yes the title of this post is SHEEP.   We got a sheep this week, aptly named Rose!!  Rose shares her name with good company.  Daisy Rose, the cat, Rosie the cow, and a few torn teddies have also had the honor of being named by my beautiful girls.  Rose the sheep is a delightful character and I, unfortunately, feel a sense of sorrow when having to kick her out the door after she has mischeviously found her way in.  Its all because of Ella.  Never before have I seen a creature fall so desperately in love with a six year old.  At her heels whenever possible, bleating at the door for her adoptive mother to come out to play.  Today was an exception as it rained.   Poor little Rose waited oh so patiently for her beloved to come hang out, however playhouse disney was the main attraction in the Andersen household today.  Sorry Rose. Luckily it was a gorgeous evening when I ventured out with 3 of my favorite people to some sheep yards.... (the common denominator this week is sheep)  You couldn't ask for a cuter threesome.  Miss thank you for being who you are, and boys.... Well you had me at pretzel.

Princes and Frogs

More than a year ago.  I quietly waltzed into the 'new' store in town.  I was pregnant and in the mood to spend.  I ohhhed  and ahhhhed at the teeny tiny shoes, I had to have the bassinet in the window, (even though I was pregnant with #3 and REALLY did not need another sleeping apparatus)  The gorgeous little onsies beckoned to me.....buy, buy, buy.  It smelt new, it was new and I was in LOVE !!!  Dagmar kindly agreed to putting some sample shots up to showcase.  I kindly made her hire me so I could hang out and bask in the glory of baby stuff!!!  Forward a few months (maybe a year) and 6 shifts later (due to my belly it was a short stay), we are standing in an orchard in the middle of nowhere, clouds looming overhead, spitting out the occasional drop, threatening our session.  Dagmar is taking it in her stride, looking luminous and very pregnant.  39 weeks and not a waddle in site.   Thank you for being a beautiful model, thank you for being a wonderful person.  I wish you all the love for your new bundle!!!

Beauty within

As I sit here looking at my dolphin clad mouse pad, (the lame one I purchased from the 'big red shed') I not only see flipper smiling back at me, I see beauty that is so deep it can't be described.  Is it their eyes?   Is it the shiny skin?  Perhaps that quirky squeak?  What is it about them that screams beauty?   Is it because we know they are calm, serene, passive animals.  Perhaps a combination of everything.  What makes beauty?  I think everyone/everything possesses it.   I just think sometimes we don't know how to find it.  Search for it, its there, all around us in many forms. Today I saw a lot of beauty.  A mother, her children (minus one) and a whole lot of love.  Thank you for today, as my beautiful child would say, your a super star!!!  There are more to come!!!

Seriously do I have the best job or what?  A conversation came up in our household not so long ago about child #4..... I hear gasps... "she said WHAT."  No fear, we are not going #4, in saying that I could do 10.   I LOVE babies and will NEVER turn a client down when it comes to snapping a newborn.  Little Miss A was another dreamy baby.  perfectly well mannered and oh so very cute.  She is going to have some serious fun with her big brother, whom may I add had eyelashes to DIE for!!!!  Heartbreakers in the making.   Amelia and Mark, thank you for having such beautiful children, you make my job easy!!!!  Enjoy your sneak peak, more to come really really soooon
