Thinking thinking always thinking

Its always great to have willing models especially the kind that patiently wait whilst you fidget and fiddle with new toys.  My latest addition to the world of Fiona Andersen Photography, is a very large,very white  roll of  seamless paper.  Being a little daft I didn't quite realize how cumbersome it was going to be.  However with some help from a very pregnant 'willing model' and some strategic maneuvers the backdrop was arisen and we got some great sweet shots of these two little dreamers!!! Also letting everyone know that instead of having to brave the frosty winds and drizzly rain there is now an inside option for catching those happy moments.  Please contact me if you would like to book a session.

Everything fades away

Ummmmmmm...please pause..... we have sun...yes....do you read me.... I say we have sun!!!  Whoooooop whoooop.... oh bugger where's it gone.  That pretty much sums up our summer.... stinking hot one day, jumpers and ugg boots the next!!!   Today however we had a glorious one, the sun was beaming, the company was good and the Sav was poured, thank you Rach  and of course Mr Kelly who were splendid hosts and once again lent our their deck for some giggles and barbequed sausages, a favorite of mine!!

Only in this amazing, beautiful fantastic country... I'm thinking I should do some promotion for the NZ tourism board.... do you get to go swimming (in the freezing cold ocean) and have a couple of Hector dolphins to hang out with and catch a few waves!!  Well sadly myself and the girls were late....NEVER...... however the others got to hang with the slippery mammals...blow and bother.  What a magical thing to do in your back yard!!

I need a genie

You know when your super dooper tired and you've had a long day.....you wish your bed would just sneak up behind, give you a gentle shove and magically you would be placed there with two cool feather filled pillows, a cosy warm feather duvet (its all about the feathers....poor ducks) and a gentle breeze brushing across your face...ooh ohh and someone to rub your feet...someone who doesn't want you to do the same immediately after... so lets make it a genie, cause they disappear straight back into their little bottle thinggee thats sitting right by the magic bed, with the magic pillows and duvet!!!  Well after a fabulous long day with some fabulous people thats how I feel...... Today Nicola and John said I DO in front of all their friends and family and what a magical day it was.... the bridal party (bless their souls) made me love what I do, I especially would like to thank John for showing us what he's made of.... LITERALLY, need I say more!!!    Nicola was stunning and had gone to such an effort to make everything look spectacular....and her GORGEOUS bridesmaids who as mums made me feel ok when I dashed to the car to feed the midget we call QUinn.

These two love birds (thats one for you John) are tying the knot in a week or two.  Nicola is going to be a gorgeous bride and her hubby to be aint so bad himself.... thanks for the entertainment John next time I shall have a speights oops I mean DB in my bag.

Couldn't help myself

Its great when you have the cutest little people to snap and today did not disappoint.... These two amazing little girls and their gorgeous Mum were a dream to meet.  They braved the windy cold (sposed to be summer) weather, purple lips and all, and gave me nothing but grins (with the help of M and his friend M's....thats M&M's) These two just happen to be little Harlem's (see below post) cousins....see cuteness runs in the family!!!

A teeeny tiny sneak peek

Well it would have been more but I have been a little busy on the home front and haven't had a lot of time to process the cutest little man.  Baby Harlem came into this world weighing a healthy 9 pound plus, bless his mothers heart.  I was lucky enough to capture little Harlem when he was just a teeny bump in him Mum' tummy.   He wasn't a fan of sleeping this day however he has the most dreamy eyes (look out ladies) so a pleasure to snap whilst awake.

So only one shot today but I promise a few more will be added over the next few days!!!

What to say hmmmmm

Well whats with this weather?????  Sposed to be the peak of summer and its been nothing but blahhhh rain and a whole heap of cold wind...the kind that chills and feels like winter.  I do enjoy the change in weather, that feeling you get when the leaves start to fall and the fire goes on, but hey, NOW????  Not looking forward to dark mornings and ice on the windscreen....am I jumping the gun, Jeeeze its still February .  Now the sun did shine today so took advantage of the small window I had and quickly snapped Ella... the yellow daisy's signal to Tonni that the lawn mower needs to be dusted off and some grooming is in order!!!  (he misses the gardner)  My yellow flowered princess

Farmor this ones for you

A great deal of my AWAKE time is spent with my darling girls.... I would never change that!!  I cherish every moment I can.  From time to time Life can get a little crazy and Mummy gets a little grumpy, but I still would never change a thing.....except when its 5am and my darling middle princess,... (That would be AVA),gently taps me on my sleep deprived shoulder and whispers......"you be the prince and I'm cinderella"   YUP thats what my life entails..... Heck I don't mind being the prince, playing the game....but does it HAVE TO BE PLAYED AT 5AM?????????????? I gently whispered, "Its still night time darling, you need to sleep" followed by "OH ok" not even 30 seconds later "mummy.... you be the prince I'm cinderella" Oh these are the moments we wish to forget at the time, however hold on until they are 21 and a speech can be written about it.  Well Ava I do hope you find your prince one day!!
