Its been a lonnng time coming

Well its been a long time a commin, just as the title describes.... these poor folks have waited wayyyy to long. Finally we headed out on a some what gorgeous Sunday to get some much anticipated shots of the coolest family this side of Timaru!!! A total delight snapping these gorgeous subjects and a big thank you for being my guinea pigs once again. Lets not keep you waiting any longer. Heres a couple just to wet the appetite....more to follow over the next few days!!!
A great blast from the past
As we tumble through life we come across some pretty amazing characters. Some we keep in touch with, some, with regret, we loose contact due to many life variables, travel, babies, marriage. Many a moon ago I met a couple of wonderful people, I even spent some crazy times in their flat (whilst mine was in repair after it burnt down) These two smart, fun, genuine people who have been together for 16 years have produced two of the sweetest little girls and once again our paths have crossed. I am so happy I have some pretty cool people living close by. Cannot wait to sit with a large glass of something starting with W and ending in INE and chatter about 'those crazy days' So here is a sneak peak Mum and Dad. Really looking forward to catching up next week!!!

ITS MIDNIGHT
Its midnight and I should be asleep.....my famous line. God my poor punished body, its screaming for sleep and I can't stop the madness....I do have every intention of getting up tomorrow morning and going for a walk!!! Bet a million dollars I wake at 7, push snooze and daydream for the next hour about going for a walk but will just wait one more minute!!! Anyway lets start the new day (cause its now 5 past midnight) with a photo of my precious girl.....at least I acomplished something good today!!!

I could be a little biased
Being a photographer I think is the bestest job there could be. You get to banter with other photographers who 'get you'. You get to deal with some amazingly talented people who I would like to be in another life. If I had the opportunity for 3 wishes they would be 1) Peace
2) No hunger or poverty
3) I could knit like Brenda from Natural Star
She has been waiting a loonnng time for some shots from me and finally I have succeeded at producing some. I had the cutest most sweetest little model today who was very obliging.... Actually I think she's my best model to date...however I could be a little biased.

Time gets away on all of us and I have taken longer than anticipated editing this wedding. Finally I can say I am done and dusted and CAN NOT wait to show them to Nicola and John who will be desperate to see them I am sure!!! So thought I would tease them a little more before the big reveal. Enjoy guys (hahahaha thats their name)
The Best shop in town
Ok so if your ever in this neck of the woods and have to drive through the heaving metropolis of OAMARU (hot little town north of Dunedin) then its a must and a do, to stop into one of the best baby shops in the south. THE FROG PRINCE has to be the cutest greatest store with some absolute to DIE for items.... I personally adore the place (can you tell) and would kill to dress my darlings in Dagamars range of yumminess. I challenge all to stop and check it out. So whilst in there today I fell in love with these gummies...I shall be returning to pick them up!!!
Sleep baby sleep
This beautiful, gorgeous little man with the most amazing eyes....was not so co - operative in the sleep department. Now do you really blame him?? Being poked, prodded, undressed, made to lie in fur. We were very delicate and tried to accommodate his highness, however he was much more interested in what was going on around him than what the sandman had to offer. Soooo we only managed to snap a couple with him snoozing, however next week his mother and I shall prevail and we WILL get him to sleep....pleaseeee
